Tokyo Disneyland with kids: strollers, baby care & meals
For a first visit with a baby or toddler, plan care stops and breaks before adding rides. Start with tickets, the journey to Maihama and a workable meal plan.

Where should I start?
Choose your park and date, then check ride eligibility, a stroller and meals. Our suggestion is one area in the morning, a break after lunch and a short afternoon visit. Disneyland and DisneySea have different layouts and facilities, so use the information for your chosen park.

Tickets: choose a date and park
Standard age categories are adult 18+, junior 12–17 and child 4–11; children three and under enter free. Prices and availability depend on the date and ticket type. Check the official booking screen.
Rental costs ¥1,000 per day for children who can sit unaided, are at least seven months old, no taller than 100 cm and no heavier than 15 kg. Availability is not guaranteed. Wagons and trikes are not permitted; check the requirements for your own stroller.
The family guide distinguishes height limits, sitting unaided, lap riding and stroller access. For example, “it’s a small world” appears in the lap-riding list. Check each attraction’s conditions and operating calendar before planning around it.
Use Maihama Station on the JR Keiyo/Musashino lines. The resort lists Disneyland as about a five-minute walk from the station; for DisneySea, consider the Disney Resort Line. Allow extra time for station transfers, lifts and entry queues, and look up your return journey.
Disneyland’s Baby Center lists hot water for formula, a microwave, a bottle-washing sink and feeding chairs, with nursing and changing facilities. Some DisneySea care locations do not have hot water or items for sale. Check the specific facility rather than assuming every care room offers the same services.
The official dining guide lists high chairs, children’s menus, special dietary menus and restaurants offering Priority Seating. Check whether your restaurant participates, and keep an alternative in mind if no booking is available. Check current allergy information with the restaurant before ordering.
Use the official app and a MyDisney account to choose an eligible restaurant, arrival time and menu. At the restaurant, tap “I’m Here” to trigger payment and preparation, then follow the collection instructions. This is different from Priority Seating. Check available times and accepted payment methods in the app.
JapanPin suggestion: locate your care stop after arrival and choose one or two nearby attractions. Leave space for lunch and a nap, then add a show or short walk if your child is comfortable. If you leave for a break, ask a Cast Member about same-day re-entry before exiting.
Free admission does not mean every ride is suitable. Check the attraction’s height, seating and supervision requirements.
Does Mobile Order reserve a table?
Plan Mobile Order and Priority Seating separately. Follow the order’s arrival and collection instructions, and check seating arrangements with the restaurant.
Do we need to stay until closing?
We suggest planning around meals, naps and the journey back. Check the last onward connection to your hotel before adding a late show.
