About JapanPin

JapanPin is a travel guide for people visiting Osaka, available in English and Korean. We bring together events and shopping offers, food and sights in Namba, Shinsaibashi and Umeda, plus ways to reach the city from Kansai International Airport.

Choose your date and neighborhood in Events & pop-ups, check eligibility in Shopping offers, and find official timetables in Airport transport. Find somewhere to eat and explore in the same neighborhood in Food & sights.

Explore verified events, food and sights on the travel map. Our half-day routes suggest a visiting order in each neighbourhood and show events for your chosen date.

Save travel information to revisit it together in the same browser, without creating an account.

Summaries based on official information

We check information from venues, organizers and transport operators and summarize it in English and Korean. Each detail page includes its official sources and the date last checked. We mark prices, reservations and opening hours as unconfirmed when the source does not specify them.

When we check information again

Events and offers are due for another check seven days after their last check; transport, food and sightseeing information is due after 30 days. When that time is reached, the item is removed from current listings and homepage recommendations, and its detail page is marked as needing another check. Events and offers that have ended are also removed from current listings.

Today and weekend listings use the local date in Japan. Cancellations, sold-out tickets and transport changes can occur after we check, so please read the official information before you go. You can report changes through our contact and corrections page.

About the photos

Food and sightseeing selections are based on official information about menus, attractions, locations and visiting conditions. These are not first-hand reviews or taste ratings. We do not invent waiting times, star ratings or reservation availability.

Photos of a venue or its surroundings are labeled as reference photos. The place may look different today. When no suitable event photo is available, we display a graphic with the date and location. Food and sightseeing guides use an information card when no licensed photo is available. Photographer credits and license details are listed on our photo credits page.

Advertising and sponsorship

We do not currently publish paid features. If we publish a feature in exchange for payment or sponsorship in the future, we will label it accordingly and provide its terms and sources.
