Getting there

The temple gives about five minutes on foot from Osaka Metro Shinsaibashi or Namba. Use 2-7-12 Shinsaibashisuji. The temple has no car or bicycle parking.

Mitsutera offers a temple visit and an illustrated sutra-copying activity in Shinsaibashi. Its official history dates the current hall’s rebuilding to 1808. Consider a short cultural stop between shopping plans.

Confirm the closing time

At review, the official home page gives 18:00 and the access page gives 17:00. Confirm a late visit directly; if you cannot, plan before 17:00. Events can also restrict general visits.

How the activity works
