What will you explore?

The indoor museum introduces Koji Kinutani’s paintings, sculptures and a 3D film experience. Consider it when already in Umeda and wanting less time outdoors. Check the current display and programme on the day.

Separate from the observatory

Go to West Tower 27F. This museum is a separate attraction from Kuchu Teien Observatory in the same complex. Do not assume an observatory ticket admits you; read what any combined ticket includes before choosing.

Closed days and student admission

The museum normally closes on Tuesday, moving the closure to the next weekday when Tuesday is a public holiday. Exhibition changes and year-end/New Year closures also apply. Bring student ID for the student rate and arrive before the final admission time.

Before visiting

The official FAQ allows wheelchair visits but says wheelchairs are not available to borrow. Photography is restricted in the 3D theatre and atelier. Pair the museum with a Sky Building meal or Umeda event, keeping separate time for travel and queues.
