How do I book the café?

Bookings open at midnight Japan time two weeks before your visit. Sign in through the official TableCheck link, check the venue name “なんば本店 喫茶室 陸カフェROOM”, then select your date, time and party size. Read the cancellation terms and save the confirmation. We have not checked current table availability.

Arriving without a booking

The official check-in notice says even visitors arriving in person must use the booking site on their phone to select an available café slot. Check first: a fully booked day may have no places. Ask staff how the takeaway queue works and whether you may leave it. There is no guaranteed waiting time.

Cheesecake price and your café budget

The official product page lists the size-6 whole cheesecake at ¥1,095 including tax. Check the café menu and drinks separately: seasonal offerings change, so the whole-cake price alone is not a café budget. A plastic knife for takeaway costs an extra ¥10.

With a stroller or young children

The café is reached only by stairs, and the toilet is on floor 3. The reviewed guidance does not confirm stroller storage, high chairs or a changing table; ask before booking. Takeaway may be easier if stairs are difficult. To ask where to leave a stroller, show staff: “ベビーカーはどこに置けますか？”

How should I carry and store the cake?

The official guidance calls for refrigeration: consume the same day if kept in a cool, dark place, or within three days refrigerated. Carrying guidance varies by whether the cake is freshly baked and by season. Tell staff your journey length and follow the packaging instructions. Buying before returning to accommodation with refrigeration avoids carrying it through a long sightseeing day. Listed allergens are egg, milk and wheat; the base contains raisins.

How does it fit a day in Namba?

The main shop is at 3-2-28 Namba, Chuo-ku, on Ebisubashisuji shopping street. If you book the café after Takashimaya shopping, set a shopping finish time that leaves room to reach your booking. For takeaway, consider Wanaka or a river walk first, then collect your cake on the way back to your hotel. Do not assume you can leave the takeaway line and return to the same place.
