How should I compare the bus with JR?
Find your hotel by name and address, then compare walking routes from the bus stops and JR Osaka Station. To reduce transfers or stairs, consider where you will have to carry luggage. Which Umeda stop does the bus serve?
Stops vary by departure and include Hankyu Sanbangai, Hotel Hankyu RESPIRE Osaka and Herbis Osaka. Use each stop map in the official timetable to check the route to your hotel, then choose a bus that serves it. Select From Kansai International Airport and the correct Terminal 1 or 2 time. Allow for luggage, queues and road traffic
Umeda buses use first-come, first-served boarding without advance reservations. Add immigration, baggage collection and walking time to your flight arrival. Check the station name and train type for JR
For the Umeda area, search for Osaka Station. Shin-Osaka is a different station, so match the destination to the station near your hotel. Kansai-Airport Rapid Service and the HARUKA limited express have different ticket conditions; a limited express requires an express charge in addition to the basic fare. Taking JR after arriving at Terminal 2

Umeda-bound late-night buses marked ◆ take cashless payment only, with no extra bus if full. Check the payment methods and stops for your departure.
