Osaka Museum of Housing and Living: closure and alternatives
The official notice closes the museum from 1 September 2026 through 5 January 2027. Do not plan it as an open indoor attraction during that period.
Official information reviewedWhere should I start?
The checked notice specifies 1 September 2026โ5 January 2027. Opening hours in older travel accounts do not override that closure.
Planning this outing
Compare the Science Museum or Kids Plaza as alternatives, choosing by age and interests. Recheck the museum notice even for a trip planned after the closure ends.
